The Port of Astoria serves as a growing cruise ship port-of-call and marine terminal. Its two active marinas also serve as a destination for recreational boaters. The port's working waterfront offers a glimpse of the seafood industry, including fishing, processing and retailing. The area provides an education about the men and women who brave the Pacific and their industry that brings seafood to our plates.

The port also operates the highly accessible Astoria Regional Airport.

There are museums galore here, for such a small town, including a film museum. That epic film classic "the goonies" was filmed here, after all. You can also take a movie tour, if you like. There is also a popular nature trail running along the shore, as well as a river front trolley. Astoria also has Lewis and Clark National Park. There are only about 10-13 Astoria Cruise Port hotels here, but they ten to be nice and homey.

The Astoria Visitor's Center can help you with suggestions, maps and directions during your day in Astoria. Here you can also get a copy of the tour book of movie locations, so you can see exactly where some of your favorite movies were shot in Astoria; a $1 donation is requested to offset costs. Astoria Cruise Port parking is plentiful, and bird watching is popular here; as you probably know, Oregon is all about nature.
