I checked in online and printed my boarding pass.  If you're flying Southwest and need to check-in luggage, make sure you have enough time to do so. The line can get long.
The food choices here are terrible. So, I had to walk all the way outside the airport to get decent food... and by decent I mean just McDonalds because you don't want Panda Express at 7AM.

SECURITY:
This took 30 minutes to go thru. I was disappointed because I would've much rather been sitting at the gate. However, the line snaked all the way through the Southwest check-in area. I was surprised that they have a lack of staff helping or are not as efficient as I thought they would be.

BOARDING:
I flew Southwest so it was quite simple and quick. The only bad part is that you have to literally go up the "air" stairs to get on the plane. So, you're exposed to all the natural elements: sun, wind, coldness, heat, etc.

PARKING SHUTTLE:
It's quick and efficient. Not much more to say.

PARKING:
The Bob Hope Airport lots are roughly $10 a day if you park at a very remote lot. The lots anywhere near the terminal are significantly higher. The valet service also offer car washing options if you so wish to have your ride sparkly and clean upon your return (instead of the usual, you know, scary airport parking lot, uhm, " beauty treatment".)

RECOMMENDATION:
Great location if you're in the area, easy access, relatively fast, and not much else to say. Boarding and getting off the plane are practically done in a flash, which is awesome and getting out of the airport is just as quick. And since, if you're flying out of here you must be absoltely filthy rich, because the flight tcikets can run about double the cost of flying out of LAX, go right ahead and get yourself a nifty little Burbank Airport hotel room.
