Free wifi, incredibly fast security lines (compared to the airports in larger cities), and the walk to your gate is pretty much guaranteed to be under 10 minutes. What's not to love?

Only downfall is when picking people up, the security guards are quite strict about waiting around and force you to circle until your passenger arrives.

Baggage claim: Never seen bags arrive on the belt so fast anywhere in the world. I've literally been 1 of the first 10 people to deplane, go to restroom, and my bag is already on the baggage claim carousel when I arrive.

Car Rental: Long walk to the parking structure and the consolidates facility. While it is a distance, you know there is no shuttle to ride, your car is ready to go, and you are steps from the freeway and on your way.

Parking: Long-term Columbus International Airport parking is some of the cheapest in the country. $3 to park in the furthest lot up to $9 per day (excluding at the terminal) - I'd always consider parking there.

Food tips: After security, all three gates have a Starbucks. Outside of security, Max and Erma's restaurant has good breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is also fast food and a coffee shop.  Gate C: Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe has good breakfast lunch or dinner and usually good service, always friendly, (only had slow service once when they were short handed). They also have Johnny Rockets if you prefer fast food. Gate B: Wolfgang Puck's - always incredibly slow service, not particularly friendly, food is good if you have time to wait. Quiznos for fast food. Gate A: Chili's (not a fan). When assigned A or B gate I usually prefer to eat at M & E outside of security over WP or Chili's.

TSA is kind of special, although these are still agents of the government there to check your bags and frisk you, but there's less of the evil overlord overtone you feel in other airports, which is nice. Whatever they're doing at this location, they should use it in others, like Newark.
