The food options are ok and the place is clean and has a lovely Air Train.Less hectic than JFK and less pathetic than LaGuardia, but not one of the world's nicer airports by any means. Hot, crowded, weird driving situation.. I take it there is no park n call lot, because a ton of people were parked in a lane, waiting for their passengers to arrive before driving up to the baggage claim instead of driving around a million times.

Pros
- proximity to NYC; easier to get to Manhattan than JFK or La Guardia
- Connects NJ transit by Shuttle
- Fairly easy access to the airport
- Fair amount of shop both before and after the security check

Cons
- Have to pay for Shuttle to NJ transit
- As a international airport that covers NYC, it is very small.  
- as a result, often this airport is congested.
- often gets lost when you get out of airport (when you drive)

- NO FREE Wifi! are you joking?

Newark Liberty International Airport Parking is laughably expensive, but if that's your thing it can be easy if you know what you're doing, and if you choose long-term parking make sure you give yourself enough time to take the (also expensive) shuttle from the lots to the terminals. Security is hit or miss.  Sometimes I've gotten through quickly...sometimes it's taken almost an hour.  Depends when you're flying I guess.  And since this is Newark, there tend to be delays...but I honestly believe they are getting much better (stay away from early Monday or Early Tuesday departures-probably the worst with delays).

And why would you let them vacuum your pockets for sky-high parking AND the shuttle (man, the nerve), when you can book a park and fly package for a nice EWR Airport hotel and throw your savings around like Rockefeller?
